I’ve always cared deeply about helping others and making a real difference—even in small, meaningful ways. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of working closely with Black students, supporting them as they navigate both personal and academic challenges. If there’s something on your mind or something you’re working through, I’d love to listen. Whether you need guidance or just a sounding board, I’m here.

More About Me...

I was born in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada at a young age. My journey -- marked by both challenges and victories -- has taught me the value of resilience and the importance of moving forward with purpose. I was blessed to have spent over 16 years in the corporate world, working with Fortune 500 companies and traveling extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia. These global experiences continue to shape my approach to mentorship and education.

Today, I focus on empowering the next generation through partnerships with both local and international education systems -- including the Waterloo Region District School Board in Ontario and the Ministry of Education and Youth in Jamaica. Through the Matthew Rushton Foundation, I provide academic bursaries to support Jamaican students in their educational journeys. I’m also the Co-Founder of RushtonLife Counselling, a licensed virtual counselling practice based in Ontario that offers accessible mental health services across the province. Additionally, I serve on the Leadership Council for Safe Families Canada, where I advocate for family well-being and stronger communities.
